Surgical LASER and/or Phaco Emulsifier Field Service technician
NE or MW Territory Manager
The Territory Manager will report to Business Development Director and Finance.
Job Overview: Provides technical and administrative support activities in a geographical area including repair, preventative maintenance and upgrades on LASER/Phaco surgical equipment in order to provide the highest level of service, maximize customer satisfaction and effectively grow territory.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide timely technical services on LASER/Phaco surgical equipment as required including phone support and onsite corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, installation, and other service related duties. Tech manages their day-to-day schedule with help as needed from manager and senior service reps.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction on assigned territory. Ensures a high level of communications with customers, sales force, operations, and within the operating region to ensure customer needs are rapidly addressed.
- Communicates equipment problems, quality issues and customer concerns to the appropriate in-house personal within the established guidelines.
- Expense management and perform duties within budgetary guidelines
- Manages assigned inventory
- Strategically promote, educate and market SandoSurgical services to customers.
- Properly manages company assets (Tablet, (loaned)test equipment, consumables, etc.)
- Provides timely and accurate documentation on services performed.
Qualifications:
• 4 Years directly related experience (OEM certs, Independent study certification, Mentor documentation)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English, understand Microsoft Office and gmail.
• 1 year troubleshooting complex technical instruments or devices preferably with computer and/or electronic assembly, maintenance, or repair experience.
